One child lost his life and multiple were injured in some shooting incidents that took place in Tarrant County over the weekend.
Some shootings were accidental. According to reports, in two shooting incidents, the gun shooter was a sibling of the victim only.
The first shooting accident took place early Sunday morning in the 3700 blocks of Mansfield Highway. Officers said that gunfire began at a large gathering hitting Two adults and one juvenile. All three of them have been hospitalized and are recovering.
Then the same day, before noon Sunday in Fort Worth, a 4-year old boy was shot and killed by his own siblings at their home near Sycamore School Road and South Hulen Street.
The threat doesn’t end here! Just a few minutes later in Arlington, an 8-year old girl was shot in her buttocks using a stolen gun. The incident happened at an apartment complex near Arbrook Boulevard and South Collins Street. The girl was immediately rushed to the hospital and is expected to recover soon.
Recently, the shooting happened around 4:30 p.m. Sunday at an Arlington home near Mansfield Webb Road and South Collins Street when a 6-year old boy was shot in the head by his own 10-11-year-old brother.
