Taapsee Pannu roped in to play India's first female horse jockey Rupa Singh

Taapsee Pannu is one of the finest actresses of the tinsel town who has marked her niche with film slike Badla, Mulk and many more.  According to latest reports, Taapsee has been roped in to play India's first female horse jockey Rupa Singh in her biopic.

The film directed by Shivam Nair of Taapsee's  Naam Shabana fame will be based on the life of India's first female horse jockey Rupa Singh. The director got the rights of the film and is currently working on the script.
Further reports from sources stated that Taapsee has shown her interest but the bound script is yet to be locked and narration is still pending. Taapsee has always maintained her dignity and proven that she is here to stay in the industry.
Taapsee is known for her strong characters and in fact, she has often talked about her film choices. The actress of ‘Pink’ fame was last seen in ‘Game Over’ written by Ashwin Saravanan and Kaavya Ramkumar under the direction of Ashwin Saravanan. The film failed to mint big bucks and crossed just Rs.11 crore.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Taapsee will be seen in Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal and Saand Ki Aankh with Bhumi Pednekar.
