Jiah Khan death case to be made into three-part documentary series by a British filmmaker

Jiah Khan marked her Bollywood debut with Amitabh Bachchan in Nishabd (2007). The death news of the actress came as a shocker to so many people six years ago. The actress hanged herself from a ceiling fan at her Mumbai-based home. The latest news is that a British filmmaker is in Mumbai these days to make a three-part documentary series on her death case.

According to reports from close sources, the British television broadcaster is doing research on this case. Jiah Khan's all of a sudden death marked headlines in 2013 when it was said that the actress committed suicide due to her failed relationship with Sooraj Pancholi. She, in fact, left a six-page note with contents that disclosed that her failed relationship with Sooraj Pancholi, son of actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab is the reason behind her death.
After verifying that letter, Mumbai police took Sooraj and charged him with encouragement to commit suicide. But the actor was soon released on bail. It was in 2014 that Jia Khan’s mother Rabia Khan said that Jia’s death was a murder. She was killed and then hanged to make her murder look like suicide. She wrote a letter to PM Narender Modi mentioning that the facts were deliberately distorted.
