According to the Dallas police officers, an argument turned between two rappers over "diss tracks" ended up in the shooting killing an innocent 9-year-old girl in Old East Dallas.
9-year old Brandoniya Bennett, was killed Wednesday afternoon when she was sitting on her couch of her apartment at the Roseland Townhomes off of Munger Avenue.

Witnesses and social media helped officers detect and identify 19-year-old Tyrese Simmons as the likely suspect.
When Simmons was identified as likely suspect, he surrendered himself into police custody. Officers further added that Simmons and an unidentified man were in a heated argument over lyrics of a song while the other had composed about them in their songs.
According to close Witnesses, the argument broke up before Simmons told the other man that he would return to shoot the entire place. Simmons returned to the place where Brandoniya was sitting on her family's couch. At that time only, she was shot and killed by Simmon. No info about why he killed her has been revealed by the officer so far.
Dallas Police Major Danny Williams also got emotional and said that he has his own personal feelings about this incident. He went on saying that that officers’ squad took girl to the hospital but she could not make it.
