Dallas: Largest school district in North Texas welcomes more than 1,000 new teachers

Dallas’ largest school district in North Texas is all set to welcome more than 1,000 new teachers.

The school district is carrying out its annual new teacher academy in northeast Dallas today to brief teachers with the teaching concepts of this district, the culture of the district that would hopefully help them meet their future goals.

Sarah Bartley, one of the newly-joined Dallas ISD pre-k teachers explained her decision to move from private to public. She said she has seen the private school world for a while but she is a firm believer in public-school education. She in fact had some colleagues mentioning what DISD is doing in their early learning department. She is really excited and happy to be a part of it.
Thursday Morning wasn’t the usual one. There was a live band with a light breakfast and a meet-and-greet event.
Bartley went on saying that walking this morning was bright and she was thinking that she was going to a party. Teacher’s welcoming and accommodating event is so managed that everything looks exciting!
Dallas schools begin from Aug. 19.
