Where to Enjoy Fourth of July Fireworks in Dallas/Ft. Worth

In case you missed the Fourth of July fireworks and celebrations across North Texas last night, or if you and your loved ones cannot get enough of a good celebration, here is an alphabetical list of places to head this evening to celebrate America's 242nd anniversary.
 
Dallas: Fair Park Fourth 2018
Free games, a zipline, water activities and other kid-friendly activities start at 3pm.
When: Wednesday, July 4th, 3pm – 10:30pm
Fireworks Show: 9:37pm.
Cost: Free for fireworks show. $8 for access to State Fair Midway at the door, $5 if you buy online.

Frisco: Frisco Freedom Fest | www.friscofreedomfest.org
A family-oriented celebration featuring a Children’s Expo with zip lines, bungees, rock climbing, bounce houses, and local entertainers along with a showcase of Frisco’s Fire and Police Departments. A vendor Village will have Frisco restaurants serving their popular menu items and Fourth of July staples. No alcohol or dogs are allowed, and the fireworks finale is supposed to be one of the biggest in North Texas.

Fireworks Show: 10 pm
Cost: Free admission for “Party in the Plaza” and tickets required for entrance to FC Dallas MLS game.

Garland: Star-Spangled Spectacular 2018
Kid-friendly activities, live music and fireworks. Remember to bring your own chairs, blankets, and importantly a cooler full of drinks.

Grapevine: July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza in Grapevine
36th Annual July 4th Fireworks by City of Grapevine
When: Wednesday, July 4th
Fireworks Show: 9:30 pm
Cost: Free from public viewing areas. Some businesses or private parks may charge.
Where:  Lake Grapevine, 1501 Gaylord Trail Grapevine, TX 76051 (Gaylord Texan’s garages top floor is under construction)

Irving: Independence Day Fireworks Show in Irving
Bring your own chairs, blankets and drinks but leave the alcohol and cigarettes at home to enjoy this annual fireworks show at Lake Carolyn.
When: Wednesday, July 4th, 6pm – 10pm
Fireworks Show: 9:30 pm
Cost: Free from public viewing areas. Some businesses or private garages will charge $10 a vehicle

Lewisville: Castle Hills July 4th Freedom Festival and Fireworks in Lewisville
A giant inflatable maze (largest in Texas, they say), a giant inflatable obstacle course, and two 27-foot water slides.
When: Wednesday, July 4th, 5:30pm – 9:30pm
Fireworks Show: After dark (sunset is approximately 8:50pm)
