Legendary Singer Usha Uthup and Bindu Subramaniam pay tribute to the medical fraternity

Legendary singer Usha Uthup and Bindu Subramanian came together for a particular project. Bindu talked about this project and said, her father, Dr. L Subramanian's idea was "God Save Us All'. He wanted to acknowledge some of the most hardworking people in the pandemic - the doctors and everyone in the medical fraternity."
Their song starts with an alaap by Dr. L. Subramaniam then it goes into the harmonized raga-based theme. The Father-daughter duo wrote the lyrics as they paid their tribute to all that the medical fraternity.

Bindu further added, "We were delighted to work with the legendary Usha Uthup and wonderful harmonica artiste Corky Siegel. It was a great honor to work with Usha Ji on this track. I have greatly admired her all my life, and it's a dream come true to finally collaborate with her on a song that means so much to all of us."
Usha Uthup said, "This song was special for me, and I was excited to do this because it was Dr. L Subramaniam's. The words were so nice, and it maintained the Indian raga. It was a challenge for me because I recorded with minimal tech support. It's so different to sing on the phone and not in front of an actual microphone."
Bindu talked about her inspiration for doing this song and said, "Everywhere in the world, the medical fraternity has been on the frontlines since the beginning of the year - often posing health risks to themselves. It is not easy for anyone, but it is especially hard for healthcare workers right now. We wanted to let them know that we are constantly thanking them for all that they're doing at a time like this."
