Karan Johar blames himself for not being in touch with Sushant Singh Rajput for the past year

Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at his Mumbai residence. Only a few days after his ex-manager Disha Salian passed away. The actor of 'Chhichhore' fame was shocked by the news and had shared his deepest condolences on the photo-sharing app. Today, Karan Johar penned an emotional note for him.
He took to his social media handle and shared a throwback picture with Sushant with a heartfelt note that read, ''I blame myself for not being in touch with you for the past year..... I have felt at times like you may have needed people to share your life with...but somehow I never followed up on that feeling...will never make that mistake again...we live in very energetic and noisy but still very isolated times ...some of us succumb to these silences and go within...we need to not just make relationships but also constantly nurture them''.

He further added, ''Sushants unfortunate demise has been a huge wake-up call to me ...to my level of compassion and to my ability to foster and protect my equations.....I hope this resonates with all of you as well....will miss your infectious smile and your bear hug ....💔💔💔'.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sushant started his screen-career with TV show. Then he marked his Bollywood debut with 'Kai Po Che' in 2013. He is known for delivering hits like ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’, 'PK', Raabta',’MS Dhoni: The Untold Story', 'Chhichhore', ‘Kedarnath’ and 'Sonchiriya'.
