Dallas County sets a new daily record on Saturday with 561 new cases of the coronavirus

Dallas County sets a new daily record on Saturday with 561 new cases of the COVID-19 reported.
 
This was the first time the County topped 500 cases in a day and is the highest total for any North Texas county.
 

According to reports, seven more deaths were reported, bringing a total number of cases in the County to 19,595 and 351 deaths from the novel coronavirus.
 
The new deaths included
  • an Irving man in his 40s,
  • two Dallas men in their 50s,
  • a Dallas man in his 70s,
  • a Farmers Branch woman in her 70s,
  • a man in his 80s was living at a care facility in Irving, and
  • a woman in his 90s was living at a care facility in Seagoville.
 
Five who died of coronavirus had a high-risk health condition.
 
There were 377 new cases and two deaths reported in Tarrant County, 139 new cases and one death in Collin County, and 49 new cases reported in Denton County.
