Fort Worth: Deputy killed due to significant injuries reported in his head

According to Fort Worth Police officers, a deputy who was serving with Tarrant County Sheriff for 19 years, Keith Shepherd died after his body was found with "significant injuries to his head" in Downtown Fort Worth yesterday.
 

The officer received a call before 9:30 p.m for a shooting that involved Tarrant County Sheriff's deputy in the 200 blocks of Taylor St.
 
Keith was immediately rushed to the Harris Hospital but was pronounced dead due to "significant injuries to his head." His body was recovered from the parking lot of sheriff's office.
 
Police officers are investigating the matter. Videos from the surveillance camera have been pulled and under examination.
 
No official details have been revealed by the officer so far.
