COVID 19: 4 more inmate dies at Fort Worth federal prison

Fort Worth Federal Medical Center prison is in news for more infections and the number of deaths due to coronavirus outbreak.

4 more inmates die in one week making a total number of deaths to nine. More than 600 inmates and six staff members have been tested positive for the virus.

As of now, this prison has 1,500 male prisoners dealing with one or the other medical issues that make them prone to the virus. But the deaths due to the virus and infections are the second highest cause of worry in the federal prison system.

New rapid test kits will be taken into action to test all inmates and create a divide between the prisoners who are not infected to keep them safe.

An on-site hospital was created inside the prison to fight the virus.
