Big B donates food packets and 20,000 PPE kits at various locations in Mumbai to fight COVID-19

So many Bollywood stars have come forward and contributed their part to help the nation fight against ongoing coronavirus virus. This time, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan has decided to help the underprivileged at this difficult time.

He is working with lots of Government projects and raising awareness about COVID-19. He is actively urging people to follow social distancing and self-isolation to stop the spread of the virus.
 
On behalf of Big B, AB Corp Ltd’s MD Rajesh Yadav is doing commendable work to help the needy. Since 28 th March, he is distributing 4500 packets of cooked food on a daily basis at various locations in Mumbai including  Haji Ali Dargah, Antop Hill, Dharavi, Juhu, and others. He also contributed and donated 10000 ration packets of dry ration to 10000 families which would help them survive for a month.
 

Now, His team is distributing 2000 dry food packets, 2000 water bottles and around 1200 slippers daily from 9th May, 2020 to migrant workers who are walking barefoot to leave Mumbai for their native places. His team also came with the idea of sending migrant workers by buses to Uttar Pradesh. With tons of efforts, this team will send more than 10 buses to UP this Thursday which would be run from Haji Ali.

Mr Bachchan's office has been in association with many distributors and sending countless numbers of masks and sanitizers and also more than 20000 PPE kits to hospitals, Police stations, BMC Offices and funeral places.
