Anushka Shetty's Nishabdham get clearance and UA certification, director Hemant Madhurkar thanks censor board members

Anushka Shetty's silent thriller Nishabdham is one of the most anticipated films of the year that is running in the news for a couple of weeks now. The film is ready for release and is expected to go for a direct OTT release. The producers have ignored all rumors and mentioned nothing about the release.
The film Director Hemant Madhukar took to his Twitter handle and revealed that his film got clearance and a U/A certification by the censor board members. He further added that the board members advised him to release the film in theatres only.
In his tweet, he wrote, "Both our films #nishabdham Telugu and #silence given U/A censor certificate and I am overwhelmed by the response of the #cencorboard panel members and my sincere thanks to them for there advice to release the film first in theatre (sic)."

For the last couple of weeks, rumours around spread that the film will directly streamline on Amazon Prime Video. But the film producer, Kona Venkat has declined to these rumors in his post and wrote, "Lot of speculations r being made on the release of our film NISHABDHAM in the media. We would like to clarify that “Theatrical release is our top PRIORITY. If the situation isn’t favourable for a long time then our alternate would be to release on OTT platform”. Hope for the best (sic)."
Nishabdham is a silent thriller featuring Madhavan, Shalini Pandey, Anjali and Hollywood actor Michael Madsen in the lead. The film will hit the screen in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and English.
