Dallas: 8-year old snatched from her mother and abducted found safe; suspect in custody

On a Saturday evening, Fort Worth police officers state that an 8-year old girl was snatched from her mother while she was walking along the streets. The girl has been located and is safe now.

Salem Sabatka, 4-feet-5-inches tall weighing 56 pounds was put on Amber Alert. The beautiful girl with brown hair and blue eyes was kidnapped. The incident took place at around 6:38 p.m in the 2900 block of 6th Avenue.
Salem and her mom were walking on the streets when a man in a vehicle trying to catch the girl approached both of them. He then grabbed the girl. When her mother jumped in the vehicle to grab her girl back, the suspect shoved her out and drove away.
The mother then called the officers. Salem was seen wearing a shirt with a caption, "Centennial" paired with a green/seafoam-colored leggings.
Officers stated that a citizen found the suspect's vehicle and called the police that led them to the arrest. There they found the 8-year old Salem and took her safely to her mother. The suspect was immediately taken into the custody. His name has not been released yet.
