Lucknow Police to interrogate singer Kanika Kapoor after her self-quarantine is over

Baby Doll singer Kanika Kapoor was tested negative for the deadly coronavirus and the singer was sent home after the test. She has been discharged from the hospital and now advised to stay in isolation for the next 14 days.
Lucknow Police will interrogate her once her isolation period is over. She was charged for hiding her travel history and attending royal parties after she returned from London. She was charged under IPC Section 269 [negligent act] and Section 270 [malignant act.

Earlier, the singer had confirmed that she was infected with the novel coronavirus. In her post, she had written, "I was scanned at the airport as per normal procedure 10 days ago when I came back home, the symptoms have developed only 4 days ago." "I am feeling ok."

According to legal experts, the case registered against the singer lacks evidence as no one, who came in contact with her was tested positive for the virus. Police will look into the sequence of the events and file its final report after that interrogation only.
