Ajay Devgn pledges to donate Rs 51 lakh for industry workers suffering due to COVID-19 c

Ajay Devgn has pledged to donate Rs 51 lakh to Federation of Western India Cine Employees, FWICE to extend help to the daily wage workers of the Film Industry who are left with no jobs due to ongoing lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Ashok Dubey, general secretary of FWICE confirmed this news and said: "Ajay Devgn has pledged to donate Rs 51 lakh to FWICE." He took to social media and shared this news with his post that says, "I'm glad that people like Ajay and Rohit (Shetty) are helping the daily wage workers who need it the most during the downtime. We have received more inquiries from others wanting to provide monetary help. We are providing them the account details. I hope more and more people come forward to help daily wage workers,"

Not only Ajay, but Salman Khan also extended his help and pledged to help the 25,000-odd daily wage workers of the film industry.
Renowned Filmmaker Rohit Shetty also donated Rs 51 lakh to FWICE. Frames Production Company and Shashi Sumit Productions offered then ration and money. FWICE will use these donations to help daily wage workers including junior artists, stunt artists, light men, and spot boys amongst others.
