Varun Dhawan contributed Rs 30 lakh to PM Narendra Modi’s relief fund

The trending coronavirus pandemic has impacted over 1000 people in India took 24 lives. To stop the spread of this deadly virus, PM Narendra Modi declared a 21-day nationwide lockdown on March 24, and this brought the entire nation to a halt.
To help the people of our country, PM Narendra Modi launched the PM-CARES fund on March 28 and requested everyone to make their contributions. He said in his statement that this fund will help them to deal with similar situations if they reappear in the future.
Today, Varun Dhawan contributed Rs 30 lakh to the PM-CARES fund and wrote on Twitter "I pledge to contribute 30 lakhs to the PM CARE fund. We will overcome this. Desh hai toh hum hain. (sic)"

PM Narendra Modi replied on his Tweet and said "Well said and well done."
Not only this, but the actor also contributed Rs 25 lakh to the Maharashtra CM’s Relief Fund and wrote, "I pledge to contribute 25 lakhs to the Maharashtra CM’s relief fund @OfficeofUT @AUThackeray @CMOMaharashtra. We are with you sir,"
Aaditya Thackeray replied on his post and wrote, "Thank you so much for this (sic)."
The total number of people impacted by the virus in Maharashtra reached 153, on Friday. Five people died from this pandemic in the state.
