Dallas County reported its 2nd COVID-19 related death, in addition to 36 new cases

On Saturday, Dallas County reported its 2ND COVID-19-related death case in addition to 36 new cases, bringing a total number of cases in the county to 131.

According to reports from the officers, the man was in his 80s and had no signs of chronic health conditions.

Tarrant County confirmed five new cases, the same day. Now, this county has a total case number of 47.

It is expected that the total number of positive cases in North Texas will rise up in the days to come and more testing sites are set up to control the spread.

For now, Dallas has set up two testing sites, one near the American Airlines Center, and one near Dallas ISD’s Ellis Davis Field House.
