Confession of Suspect accused of pushing the man onto DART tracks in jailhouse interview

27-year old Anthony Davis who was accused of pushing a man onto the tracks of a DART train finally confessed in an interview done in the jailhouse. He has been charged with aggravated assault.

The incident happened on Monday night at the Morell Station located near Dallas Zoo when he pushed a man onto the tracks of the DART train. Anthony confessed that he was under the influence of alcohol and marijuana when he pushed that man.  He further added that the man he pushed was misbehaving with a woman, he didn’t like it, and so he intervened and pushed him by assaulting him.
According to the suspect, he regrets his actions. He said sorry to the man (he hurt). He knew things can’t get better now but he expects things to get fixed soon. If he weren’t the influence of alcohol, he would not have done that.
Dallas Firefighters rescue man and helped him free himself from the track of the train. He got injuries and is recovering at the hospital.
