Ranveer Singh Starrer film “83” on 1983 world cup win postponed

The film “83” starring one of the leading male-actor of the Indian Film Industry, Ranveer Singh, has been postponed from its scheduled release of April 2019. The film was expected to hit the theatres in the month of April but due to some reasons, the film will now release in the month of August 2019.
Taran Adarsh, Tade Analyst recently tweeted: Mark the date 30 August 2019 for the release of the film “83”
This film has been done under the direction of the director, Kabir Khan. Ranveer Singh playing the lead role in the film would play the role of legendary cricket star, Kapil Dev. This biopic film will introduce viewers to the 1983 World Cup that was held at Lord's Stadium, England. That world cup created the history.

Why Kabir Khan, the director of this film wanted to make one?
Kabir Khan clearly explained the reason for making of 83 film.
When the director watched the world cup 1983, he had no idea to what level the strategies and gameplay of India would change to this extent. According to Khan, his journey of making this film is one of the best journeys of his life that he started and completed with utmost satisfaction. He feels lucky enough to sign Ranveer Singh for the film. The actor in fact, one of the superstars of the film Industry, was ready to play the lead role in the film that is based on the real-life story of the match that was played during the world-cup. Further to this, Khan added that he could visualize no other actor than Ranveer Singh for this role as he fits into this, the best.
As of now, only the lead actor, Ranveer Singh is final.  The team is working on finding new talents who can pose the role.
