An off-duty police officer was playing an online video game when he heard another player threatening a school. The 17-year-old Devant Y’Shaun Davis-Brooks is in jail now. He lives in Taylor, just outside Austin.

According to Police officials, earlier he was arrested for threatening his former high school. When he was planning online video game on Wednesday morning, he told other players that he is going to shoot up Taylor High School. Fortunately, an off-duty police officer from Fort Worth was also playing the game at that time. He heard the whole conversation.

The teen, however, didn’t realize that his conversation was heard by the cop and he was playing with a cop. He started narrating his previous crimes and arrests for five months ago.

Commander Joseph Branson with the Taylor Police Department said that the teen asked the online players to Google and check the things that he had done in the past. The Fort Worth police officer then contacted Taylor police and the teen was taken in arrest. He has been charged with making a terroristic threat.
