2 security officers charged with murder following a New Year’s Eve shooting outside a nightclub

Two Dallas security officers charged with the murder following a New Year’s Eve shooting that happened outside a nightclub.
 
According to Dallas police officials, the incident happened around 3 a.m. after some disturbance in the XTC Cabaret overflow parking area off Stemmons Freeway.
 

The arrest warrant affidavit says that several security officers tried to hold a 34-year-old man who was trying to leave after injuring an unconscious man who was lying on the ground behind his truck. 34-year old ignored the police officers’ commands and almost hit a security officer. It was then Daterrious Haggard and Eric Hansen, Dallas security officers fired their weapons and continued firing as the man drove away that ultimately resulting in his death.
 
The security officers admitted to the shooting. The Police officials said that based on their investigations, witness testimony and the video shared on the social media, both of them will be charged with murder.
 
Though the victim’s name has not disclosed yet, the condition of the unconscious person is still not known.
