Fort Worth Police tried hard to stop a woman driving wrong-way who later crashed head-on into another car driver on Interstate 30 this Friday morning.

According to the police officials, the incident happened around 3:30 a.m. when they got calls about a woman driving westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-30. She was coming from Lancaster. Two police officers immediately responded to the calls and tried to catch her attention. One officer even drove parallel to her car and the other one deployed spike strips to stop her. But nothing worked out for her and she ultimately headed-on into another car West Loop 820. Both of them were killed in the car crash.
Buddy Calzada, the Fort worth Police official said that this incident is very saddening. They tried hard to stop the woman but couldn’t do so. Interstate closed after the incident for several hours to continue with the investigation. The names of both of the drivers aren’t known yet.
