After the grand success of Gadar 2, Sunny Deol is to return with the Border sequel.

Sunny Deol is all set to return with Border 2, 26 years after the first part. The film may not star other Border actors.

After the grand success of Sunny Deol‘s film Gadar 2, the actor is all set to come up with Border 2. Produced by JP Dutta, who directed the 1997 hit Border, the sequel will have a new ensemble cast of younger actors.

The 1997 film Border starred Jackie Shroff, Sunil Shetty, Akshaye Khanna, Sudesh Berry, Pooja Bhatt, Tabu, Sharbani Mukherjee, along with senior actors Raakhee, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, and Puneet Issar. It was one of the biggest blockbusters in the 90s.

According to the latest reports from our sources, “The team has been discussing the probability of making a Border sequel for the last 2 to 3 years, and everything has now finally fallen into place as the team is all set to make an official announcement of Border 2 in a fortnight. The team has identified a tale from the 1971 Indo-Pak war that is yet not told on the big screen and are all charged up to bring it to the spectacle.”

Further reports from our sources claimed, “Being a heavy-on action film, the team will be casting actors from the younger generation rather than bringing together the entire troop of Border. Sunny Deol will probably be the only Border actor who will also be a part of Border 2. It’s all in the early stages, and more updates shall come our way once the film is officially announced very soon.”

Sunny is enjoying the success of his latest release, Gadar 2. The actor and his co-star Ameesh Patel recently celebrated the film’s success in Dubai. The film also stars Gadar 2 director Anil Sharma’s son Utkarsh Sharma as Tara Singh’s son Charanjeet.
