Afghanistan secured an unprecedented victory against Pakistan in the 2023 World Cup match, with openers Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran playing pivotal roles in their eight-wicket win.

Afghanistan scripted history with a remarkable eight-wicket victory against Pakistan in the 2023 World Cup clash at Chepauk. Opting to bat first, Pakistan managed to score 282 for 7, with Captain Babar Azam leading the way with a resilient 74 off 92 deliveries. Opener Abdullah Shafique also made a significant contribution with 58 runs.
